Health Services
The Heath Services department at the World Headquarters is staffed by registered nurses and physicians during normal business hours. You can use the services for emergency medical care as well as minor injuries and illnesses.
Health Services also provides dental and eye examinations, dermatology services, free immunizations and referrals to physicians and specialists.
Fitness Center
The state-of-the-art fitness centers at the World Headquarters Main Office and our research facility make it easy to stay in shape. They are open during normal business hours and feature a variety of aerobic machines, strength equipment, exercise classes and seminars on health and fitness.
Infant Care Center
This facility at the World Headquarters Main Office is staffed with well-trained and experienced specialists in child development through the Children's Home Society of Minnesota. The Center cares for up to 36 children, ages 6 weeks to 16 months.
Backup Child Care
Even the best child care arrangements break down sometimes, and that's why General Mills provides backup child care through ChildrenFirst. The center is available for children ages 3 months to 12 years old.
Sick Child Care
Even though the best arrangement would be for you to stay home with your children when they are sick, sometimes that is not possible. General Mills assists employees by paying 85 percent of the cost of sick child care provided by select providers.
Child Care Discounts
Select day care centers in the Twin Cities offer discounts to General Mills employees.
Employee Club
The General Mills Employee Club provides social and cultural activities for employees and their families, as well as discounted tickets to many local and national events.
On-site Services
Stores at the World Headquarters Main Office and our research facility offer General Mills products at reduced prices as well as dry cleaning and laundry services, photo processing and hair salon services. You can also buy gas or have your car serviced at the Automotive Service Center located on the main campus.
